Select students who exhibit ambition, self-motivation, charisma and integrity are chosen by educators and facilitators to advance into our Catherine B. Davis Scholar Internship Program. These students display a mastery of the commitment to excellence in likeness to the scholar program’s namesake, Catherine B. Davis.

An extraordinary educator for over forty years in the state of Mississippi, Catherine B. Davis fulfilled her life’s mission by shaping and molding the minds of young people throughout her tenure in the classroom. Her love for education was eclipsed only by her caring and concern for the impact she would have on  youth. We celebrate Catherine’s devotion to excellence by designating our highest student scholar award in her namesake, The Catherine B. Davis Scholar designation.
